2022 COMPUTEX was officially held from May 24th to 27th. As an industry-leading provider of storage controllers and solutions, YEESTOR participated in this event and demonstrated full series of storage controllers and industrial storage solutions.
Consumer Market
YEESTOR demonstrated on site the actual measurement data of the latest SATA 3.2 SSD controller YS9085, which were recognized by the audience. YS9085 adopts a more advanced 28nm technology, manifested by high reliability and high performance, shorter delay of data input and output, and excellent power duration. Sequential read and write speed of up to 550/510 MB/s enables customers to enjoy cost-effective consumer-grade and industrial-grade SSD solutions, including 2.5-inch SSD, Slim SATA, mSATA, M.2 and SSD in BGA form, compatible with desktops, laptops, and other embedded applications.
YEESTOR eMMC5.1 controller YS8297 adopts 28nm technology and has a sequential read and write speed up to 330/230MB/s. It carries a new generation high-performance LDPC error correction engine, and supports BCH, effectively supporting a new generation of NAND Flash, and is compatible with Flash of different processes. It provides E2E, which means end-to-end, data protection to further improve the reliability of eMMC. By the end of 2022, YEESTOR will launch UFS3.1 controller targeting mid-to-high-end mobile phone market,
Industry and Vehicle
In recent years, YEESTOR’s industrial storage solution business has also greatly advanced, and has been widely employed in many fields such as railway transportation, industrial computers, servers, video surveillance, network communications, power energy, smart homes, in-vehicles and other areas. During this COMUTEX, YEESTOR displayed its independently-developed eMMC, M.2 PCIe, 2.5-inch SATA, mSATA, M.2 SATA, eSSD and other industrial-grade storage solutions.
Meanwhile, YEESTOR also demonstrated for the first time the PCIe Gen3x4 BGA SSD, using pSLC and TLC NAND, BGA499 Ball package, measuring only 20x22x1.8mm in size, and with continuous read and write speed of 1100/800MB/s. It supports E2E data protection and industrial grade operating temperature of -40 °C to 85 °C, and has a large capacity optional range of 120GB~960GB. It can be applied to industrial grade embedded applications, server boot SSD, automotive IVI, network applications, base stations, and other applications.
Enterprise Grade and Data Center
YEESTOR will officially launch its PCIe 5.0 enterprise controller in 2023, supporting NVMe 2.0 and OCP Cloud Spec 2.0. The controller supports NVMe zone namespace (ZNS), open channel SSD, intelligent multi-stream, atomic write, intelligent operation and maintenance and other features, and supports ONFI5.0 interface. It is expected to have sequential read speed of more than 14.5GB/s, sequential write speed of 12GB/s, and a performance of more than 3 million IOPS.
Under the influence of several factors including the COVID , the flash memory market has experienced temporary fluctuations. However, according to market research agency Yole, the NAND flash memory market is expected to grow by 24% to a record high of $83 billion in 2022. Under the trend of data explosion, the penetration rate of SSD continues to increase, and the increasing strong demand for industrial storage, server storage and vehicle storage will drive YEESTOR’s continuous growth and development.
